Where the Meta Link app lets us easily stream Unity’s Play Mode to our headsets, connecting to the Meta Quest Developer Hub makes it easy for us to deploy full test versions of our projects to our HMDs.
This makes it easier to run larger-scale tests of your game, without having to go through the whole deployment pipeline outlined in [ADD REFERENCE TO DEPLOYMENT].
To start, make sure you have a good USB-C data cable, your headset is updated, and you’re logged into your headset with the same account as your Meta Quest Developer Hub.
Download the Meta Horizon app on your phone, log in with the same account on your MQDH. Walk through the steps to connect your device. Once it’s connected go do Device > Settings > Developer Mode, and set Dev Mode to “On”.
Plug your headset into your computer with your USB-C Data Cable. In the MQDH you’ll innitially see the message: “Device detected but unauthorized. Put on your headset to allow access. If access dialog does not appear, reconnect USB”

Put your headset on and look for the prompt “Allow USB Debugging”. Select: “Always Allow From This Computer”
You should then see your headset connect, along with plenty of options to manage it, and a section were you can upload new APKs for testing.
