This platform was designed to run on Meta Quest 3, 3s, and Quest Pro headsets and should be stable for future OS updates for these platforms.

Addressing OS-Update Related Breaks

In the event that an OS update does break this application check for any relevant updates to the Meta Unity SDK, and update the application to use the most recent version. This may require light rebuilding of any methods that rely on the Meta Unity SDK, especially the shared spatial anchor systems in the AR Colocated Experience.

Updating to New Hardware

If there is a need to update to future Meta Headsets, manual work may be required to port the platform forward. Refer to Meta’s documentation on deploying to that specific hardware, and on updating existing VR/Meta specific functionality to be compatible with the new platform.
