Battery life:

~4-hour (Gen 1)

~8-hour (Gen 2)

Note:

Take photos or record videos decrease fast the battery.

Can we take photos?

Yes. Can be taken by pressing a button or by voice command. The button can be configured.

Composition:

The photo composition is always vertical, never as horizontal.

Formats:

HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container format) - provides better compression than JPEG.

JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group format) - widely supported image format.

Quality:

Decent, but with poor details. It has less quality compared to a smartphone camera, DSLR or Mirrorless.

Notes:

The user needs to stay still for a while until the photo is taken, otherwise, the image will be blurred.

Need permission to access camera functionality on the connected wearable device, through Meta App.
